Mix that together with the talented drawing skills, humor, captivation of the horse world and you have the Thelwell ponies – a seemly endless supply of drawings and paintings of ponies doing pony things with their pony club girls, created by the master of horse cartoons and humor, Norman Thelwell. With a light, whimsical drawing style, Norman was able to convey the thoughts and feelings of both his human and equine subjects, often young pony club girls and their rolly polly ponies.
