Prayer to First Maker
Martin Grelle “Prayer to First Maker” Oil on linen, 36″ x 24″ Price: $35,000 SOLD

What do you get when you have Traditional Cowboy Arts Association (TCAA) and Cowboy Artists of America  (CAA) hosting an event together? One of the finest western art exhibits and auctions– Cowboy Crossings.  Since 2011, both of these groups have been hosting Cowboy Crossings, an annual event. Prior to that, both organizations had their own show. This year marked the 17th annual show for the TCAA and the 50th for the CAA.

This exhibit runs through October 8th 2015 to January 3rd 2016. The opening weekend  had many special events going on: a preview of the artwork, lunch/dinner with some of the artists, demonstrations by selected artists, and of course the art auction.

More Than $2 Million In Less Than Two Hours

Yep, you read that right, $2 milion in two hours– the summation of the Cowboy Crossings sale and gala banquet on October 10th at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA.

The Cowboy Artists of America (CAA) are the vanguard of the Western art revival that began in the 1960s, and they continue to set the mark for those who carry on the legacy today. The CAA Mission is to authentically preserve and perpetuate the culture of Western life in fine art. – CAA website

2015 marks an  historical milestone for CAA, as they celebrated their  50th Annual Sale & Exhibition. More then 100 western themed sculptures drawings and paintings were on display and available for purchase. Learn more about the CAA here  and TCAA here.
