I just found out about this contemporary art festival– Festival of Contemporary Art and Technology ( Astana Art Fest) in  Astana, Kazakhstan. There are seemingly about a hundred brightly decorated hand painted horses painted in styles of different ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan. This festival took place during July 4-6th 2015 and is an annual event. With tons of contemporary art that includes horses and new energy technology, what could be better?!

On the festive days, Astana Art Fest will be unfolded on the water-green boulevard, which will bring together art, architecture, design and the latest technologies. Innovative installations, performances of street theaters, children’s creative workshops will allow telling and revealing the topic of “EXPO-2017” international exhibition.

Besides exhibiting these horses, the exhibit shows the Statue of Liberty and the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley. There will be works from artists from around the world–France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, the USA, Russia and Kazakhstan.
