Hermes Display in Tokyo, China in 2012

House Industries crafted this window display for the Hermes  in Tokyo China’s Ginza District. The hand-drawn Hermes horse is made from custom cut Wisconsin cedar. “Stoutly-sculptured cedar characters draped with signature Hermès stablemates carry on our motif throughout twelve animated window installations.” The installation was on display until January 17, 2012.

Jade Townsend was invited to make 13 beautiful Fibre-glass carousel horses for Hermes in 2010 in the UK. She says that she got “inspiration from the prints on the scarfs from the new collection which I painted. They were truly beautiful and I was given one as a gift at the end of the installation.”
